Katy. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but on
December 5th right when I was in my music class...
Nelson Mandela died. It's sad. Yes I am black and it affected me in a a way. I went to see the movie right after and it touched me. I didn't learn much about him until Thursday, and I'm sad I didn't make my mom tell me about him before he died. I had no relations to him but in someway I miss him and it makes me sad. He fought for what we have today and ended up in prison for
27 years with children and a wife. It was a hard life for Nelson Mandela but he still even forgave the people who
passed his friends and family and who locked him up for 27 years. Mandela was a man I would love to be friends with and I'm sad that he didn't get to experience those 27 years of life like anyone should.
